Serbia
I was born in a small town in Serbia, where I lived until finishing high school. I moved to Belgrade to study painting at The Faculty of Fine Arst, where I’m currently a PhD student. I find inspiration in everyday, mundane scenes and objects, in long and meditative observation of the urban world around me. I am moved by the occurrence of some unespected detail inside of such predictable and trivial view, such as a distortion of a reflection in a car mirror, or soft and tender transitions in colors of a garbage bag. City is a loud, noisy, chaotic place, in which moments of beauty and tenderness are a rarity and that is why I aspire to document and perserve them.
