Current and recent projects Kilkenny Council art grant 2022 Kilkenny Catwalk artist 2021 Artlinks award 2020 Art teacher with Kilkenny Carlow ETB Directing The Artist in the Shop Window Project at Fogartys in Castlecomer July 2019 to present. This is an artist in residence project self-directed and my studio and gallery space.. With support by Kilkenny LEADER Partnership Working on a series of murals for the Castlecomer region. Two are done Postcard project during Lockdown, 2020 Designed and sent postcards to anyone who wanted them Commissioned to do a series of drawings of landmark buildings in Castlecomer for plaques Festival of lights project with the community school in Castlecomer where I worked with leaving cert students developing chinese lantern animals. November 2019 November Chapter Two. This was a continuation of the portrait project where we remembered loved ones and projected images onto the gallery window for the month of November leading up to the Festival of Lights. November 2019 30 Days - 30 Portraits. In September 2019 I spent the month of September painting a person from the local community here in Castlecomer everyday. Developed a project for Ballyragget NS for the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Ballyragget involving 2nd/ 3rd and 4th classes. February- March 2019 The project was based around the town and the river Artist for festival of Culture in 2018 and 2019 Co-Founder and Art Director 2013 - Wall Poems, Inc. A poetry-based nonprofit mural project, with more than 20 permanent painted walls and installations in Charlotte, NC, USA. Recipient of 2015 Neighborhoods in Creative pARTnership public art grant from the Arts and Science Council and a 2016 Knight Foundation Grant. www.wallpoems.com Co-Director and Design Artist, 2015 - 2018 Goodyear Arts is an innovative, nonprofit, artist-led led project that has artist residencies and events in underused buildings in Charlotte, NC, USA. It is focused on excellent local visual, performing and literary artists because ARTISTS NEED TIME, SPACE, MONEY AND COMMUNITY.
