About The Artwork
This is one of a pair of pictures mounted together in one frame. Each picture could stand on its own but I thought they are better as a pair. They were one of my first forays into using gouache after a break of many years. The pictures were taken in the heart of Brixton in 2014. They are mounted on cream card and framed in a glazed frame.

Been painting and drawing for more years than I care to remember,certainly over 50. I left the UK in the mid sixties and spent 12 years in Germany. It was at that time that I stopped painting and on my return to England did not resume. Then, on retirement I took up my brushes again. I have since mainly painted in Acrylic but more recently have journeyed back in time to try Gouache. I live with my wife in the New City of Milton Keynes in the heart of England. My two daughters both live in London.
