About The Artwork
The creek near my home presents a new image every few seconds. I tried to capture one with my camera so that I could interpret it in paint. I chose oil paint and my palette knife to for the immediacy of application. The scene is so fluid I had to hurry as fast as I could and hope the viewer will feel the rush of enthusiasm for the subject matter as I did!
