Bladimir Díaz, was born in 1964, in Dominican Republic, since childhood he showed interest in art, began his studies of painting in Bonarte Art Center in the city of Bonao, where he grew up, and his father Orlando Diaz Fortuna (Lan) was Professor of painting, he acquired the first knowledge. He studied architectural drawing with the architect German Mejia in Bonao, and the Gregg Institute of Santo Domingo, joined the Universidad Central del Este "UCE" to study architecture, then continuing in the Universidad Dominicana O&M., after several semesters decided to devote completely to the painting. Bladimir Díaz Began a life of total delivery to the art, giving to know by the form to paint his "Dark Women with Pamelas", in the 1984 realised his first individual exhibition in the Casino of the Yuna, in the city of Bonao, participated in workshop. He participated in workshops and activities related to painting, so his works formed part of group exhibitions in those years. The beauty of Caribbean women in all their glory and the unmistakable characteristic of this artist colorful left embodied in each work. At the beginning of the Decade of the 90's, he moved to New York, he remained some years, where he also worked making designs in glass. He joined "The New York Art Student League", studying drawing, outlined several individual as well as collective samples in this city. Bladimir Díaz is a member of the Dominican School of artists (CODAP) and the International Association of plastic artists (AIAP) UNESCO. In 1997 Bladimir established his residence in Puerto Rico, worked for several years for Julissa Casting Inc. in the development of designs for public spaces and the models that would be then cast in bronze, traveled to the city of Caracas, Venezuela has monitor part of these projects. He studied for an associate's degree in graphic arts, the Institute of technology and University of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
