"Carrying a wreath through my life ...", cycle "We Are" Since olden times, a wreath twined of herbs and flowers, decorated with bright ribbons, is one of the Ukrainian symbols. It is like a book of the soul of a young girl: in the language of flowers, she expressed her feelings, state of mind and talked about the events that happened in her life. The wreath, in its symbolism, has a solar base. By itself, it forms a certain field around a person. Twining another element of decoration into her wreath, the girl enchanted it for her own good. In fact, she was twining her own destiny. The number and composition of flowers in a wreath are not set once and for all, it depends on different circumstances, for example: for a girl or for a woman, it is twined depending on the type, purpose of the wreath, etc. Knowing the symbolism of herbs and flowers, you can easily find out what a twined wreath will bring you, for example: poppy - a flower of desires, a symbol of fertility, beauty and youth; chamomile - a symbol of tenderness, loyalty and love; cornflowers are a symbol of humaneness; marjoram - a symbol of maternal love; elecampane - strengthens and restores health; immortelle - a symbol of health, heals ulcers and wounds; lovage is a symbol of devotion ... The wreath was necessarily decorated with ribbons that have their own sacred meanings and order. The first in the very center of the back of the wreath is a light brown ribbon - this is a symbol of our Earth. The following ribbons run along the sides of the center: The yellow ones are the symbol of the Sun above the head. Further are light green and dark green - Beauty and Youth. Behind them blue and blue ribbons are woven - meaning clear sky and water, giving strength and health, respectively. Raspberry - sincerity, pink - wealth, purple - wisdom. Now you know my wishes to you and what my picture is saying to the World! Cycle «We Are» What were We? What will We be? What Are We? This series is dedicated to defining the identification of the Ukrainian people, understanding what is inherent in us at the genetic level, what we use absolutely unconsciously to preserve our identity, which helps, protects and supports us, which makes us unique. Once disappearing, our distant ancestors left us a powerful energy potential of knowledge, which is now stored in our genetic memory and, as a reminder, in artifacts in the form of sacred symbols. This knowledge is important and relevant for each of us today, because it is based on the relationship between man and nature. They can be used as a tool for improvement, whereby everyone has the opportunity to experience the spiritual world, as well as to know the meaning of their arrival in this world. The personality of each person gets a chance to spiritually transform, which means that space and society will be transformed together with him. Sacred knowledge gives a person the strength to maintain a very fragile balance of good and evil in our modern complex world. They provide spiritual assistance and provide a chance to build a civilization in which spiritual values prevail.
