I am an Estonian artist based in London, UK. As a qualified musician, art and culture have always been an integral part of my life and something that continue to inspire me. I get inspired as much from my travels as well as everyday life. Being a regular visitor to museums and galleries, I am fascinated with artworks in different styles and mediums. I like to challenge and push the boundaries which is also the reason that my artwork is made using various different mediums - including watercolour and ink on paper to more complex materials like oil and sometimes less conventional ones like clay plaster on canvas. My love for drawing means that I often have a pencil in my hand - be it a manual one and scribbling on the paper or a digital one that allows me to create high resolution drawings on my iPad that are perfect for prints and cards. Whilst being a self-taught artist can be tough, I try to see it as an advantage to my practice. I enjoy the self-discovery, endless long nights finding out about the theory of how different mediums are used and satisfaction in my studio when I get to experiment, play and enjoy the process. Collection of artworks share the same or similar source of inspiration. It can be memories or places that I have visited or simply something that deeply resonates. It is that urge to express and using the tools that allow that expression at any point of time. That inspiration or vision I get then dictates the medium that I will use. As an emerging artist, I am proud to say that my artworks are held in private collections in the US, Australia, New Zealand, UK and other parts of Europe. Mission Art with Passion & Purpose - my slogan underpins my practice. My aim is to draw the connection between art as a healer for the artist like myself and at the same time supporting a much bigger purpose, by way of helping others through the funds that I hope will help to find a better cancer treatment for children. This really is the single biggest reason for me to show up frequently and continue to create. Vision My artwork allows me to communicate my way of thinking and my mindset. I am hoping that just like people being influenced by famous quotes and relying them during challenging times, my aim is to achieve that through my artwork.
