ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is my beautiful Cherry tree showing it’s autumn leaves. I wanted to get in close to show the variety of colours and shapes. I like to let your eyes travel around the painting enjoying the depth of shades and hues. There is a slight texture to this painting, and the overall warmth comes from the bright pink acrylic under painting. The softness comes from painting over this in oils, then a matt varnish to finish. This painting has not been framed, d-rings can be attached if required.

Originally from Barnstaple, North Devon. I’ve lived in Somerset since the age of four. I now live in a large village called Street, it’s about two miles from Glastonbury. A truly beautiful part of the Uk, surrounded by unique landscapes and plenty of nature. These are the two things that greatly inspire me. I love colour and patterns, which is probably why I made the mistake of choosing textiles whilst at college, rather than Fine Art! So I guess you would call me a self-taught painter. But painting is all I’ve ever done.
