ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The painting is modern interpretation to the famous masterpiece "The Chocolate Girl" by Jean Étienne Liotard (1745). Inspired by the original painting in the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister Dresden, the artist created a contemporary interpretation in the style of a polygon pattern. The polygon or diamond pattern style is a modern computer-based technology of image alteration. The artist has used this technique, although it is oil painting. The painting is framed with a beech wood strip.
