Home Alone is a favorite Christmas movie that we all watch every year. The stunning holiday color of this film and the magical music of John Williams create a feeling of Christmas approaching. I chose a painting from the McCallister house, which most often appears in the frame; it hangs on the wall of the entrance lobby, on the stairs between the first and second floors. This green-red watercolor illustration in vintage style has a beautiful x-mas colors. And white and red roses add tenderness and festive coziness. Just what you need for Christmas decor! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, dear collectors and art lovers! The history of this project. I am an artist and designer, so I have always noticed unusual details in films. So I started watching art in cinema and decided to create my own project "Film and Painting" on YouTube. It is designed to open up a new facet of cinematography to viewers and immerse themselves in a new world of visual culture. I hope that when you see how much detail we overlook when watching films, you will think how much meaning can be put into the film and in general - into the visual environment. It is also a huge challenge for me as an artist. Painting in different styles is laborious creativity. I believe that a person can only grow up when he leaves his comfort zone, so I like to set myself challenging tasks. Many of the paintings that I paint do not exist or are in private collections and film studios museums. Film lovers and artists will obviously never see these paintings live ... I want to give people that opportunity. Film and Painting is my real brainchild because I worked for many years before creating this series of paintings.
