About The Artwork

CHROMORITMOS IS A COMPLETE SERIES OF PAINTINGS AND KINETIC INSTALLATIONS INSPIRED BY ALDOUS HUXLEY'S ESSAY "THE DOORS OF PERCEPTION" WHERE THE WRITER EXPERIMENTS WITH HALLUCINOGENIC DRUGS. BASED ON HIS EXPERIENCES HE WRITES THIS ESSAY WHERE I IMAGINE A PALETTE OF COLORS, IMAGES AND SHAPES IN RELATION TO HIS STORIES. HUXLEY IN HIS ESSAY SUPPORTS THE IDEA THAT BY ALTERING THE SENSES WE CAN COME TO SEE "THE INFINITE". IN MY WORKS I WORK WITH PERCEPTION, MOVEMENT AND TRANSFORMATION.
