Born near Grenoble in the French Alps, i moved to Galway in the West of Ireland in 2003. I now live in Claregalway where I paint and creat artworks in my converted attic turned into an art studio. With a background in engineering, I always kept an interest in arts especially in street art, the graffiti culture and calligraphy. I started painting in 2020 as a hobby shortly after I discovered a number of modern artists online. Among them, John Beckley inspired me to continue painting on a regular basis and develop my own techniques and vision. As a self taught artist, most of my recent work focus on abstract painting. I mainly use acrylic paint on stretched canvases using a variety of conventional tools (wide brushes, palette knives, acrylic markers…) and home made tools made from everyday objects. Inspiration comes from everyday life and all the beautiful details, colours and shapes as well as music. Music plays a key role in the way i visualise, plan and create art.
