ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I love to paint abstracted moments of calm shown with a steady flow of water and wind as they course through time. In many paintings, I usually add geologic references, not on purpose, but because I studied and worked in geology and geophysics for over ten years. I did so believing I had to reach outside of art to find the answers to why we're here; why I am here. Now I am in the metaphysical merger of the two fields and know there is no answer, just the path of enormity and humility.
