About The Artwork

"Cold blue" 2021 In creating this portrait, I was inspired by paintings from the Italian Renaissance and recreated the classic composition in a modern way. This picture reminds me of the imminent arrival of winter, a snow-covered river is visible in the distance. "Shabby" background, Smooth 1940s hair styling, subtle blush, floral pattern, purple shades create a frosty and mysterious composition. This artwork is made with oil and acrylic on high-quality hand primed linen/cotton canvas, coated with semi-gloss varnish for bright colors and clear permanent protection for years. Canvas wrapped around the wooden frame, painted around the edges to compliment the artwork & doesn't need framing. One of a kind artwork Size: 60 x 80 x 2 cm This artwork is sold unframed. Painting is signed on the front and also comes with a certificate of authenticity. Signed, titled and dated on the back.

Polina Kharlamova is a full-time professional artist and illustrator. She graduated from the Stieglitz Academy of Art and Design with honors and then continued her path as an independent artist. Now Polina lives and works in Helsinki, Finland, her artworks can be found in private collections in the USA, the UK and across Europe. «The most important thing for me as an artist is to create a mood for the viewer, to help him capture the moment. Create an environment, a reason for thought with a picture. The plots of my work were found in exceptional circumstances rather than in everyday life. It is idleness, music and flowers. Femininity and fragility intertwine with the dark, mysterious noir motives. The theme of the search for harmony is always present in my works, I try to emphasize this with a restrained, deep color scheme.»
