This picture symbolizes the basic human nature – compassion for other living creatures. A few years back, when I visited Jaipur (a city in the state of Rajasthan in India), I happened to witness village girls, despite their hardship to walk several miles in the desert heat to fetch drinking water for their households, did not hesitate to give some water to any passing cattle out of sheer compassion. This painting is a depiction of the ever-lasting image registered in my mind. This handmade picture was drawn by the artist (myself) on 300 gsm sketch paper using natural colors, and the scanned copy can be printed on high quality photo paper and canvas, of different sizes.
