About The Artwork
The sight of the clouds rolling over the sky at the shore near Old Lyme inspired me to try and capture the feeling of this most atmospheric scene. I could feel the mist, and hope the viewer will feel it too. I chose oil paint for the subtlety of color and a palette knife for the texture in the clouds that I remembered seeing. The painting is wired and ready for hanging, or framing if desired.
