About The Artwork

In the summer I spend a lot of time in our garden, watching how flowers and plants change their appearance and how their colors change. In this work, I captured on canvas a piece of our garden in May. So it will be in bloom all year round. The painting is made with oil paints on a canvas primed with acrylic in the application of texture paste using the impasto technique. Size entered from painting, from sides is about 4 cm of unused canvas so that you can stretch it well on the frame. Canvas without stretcher frame, will be sent rolled in a tube.

Painting fills my life with meaning and harmony. I work primarily in oil on canvas, using a combination of thick impasto and delicate glazes to create depth and luminosity in my work. I explor the theme of human identity and the search for self-discovery. Depending on my state of mind, I paint in lyrical-symbolism or exspressiv - inspired by the natural world’s beauty, history and mythology. My paintings celebrate color, form, and texture and meditate on the relationship between light, shadow, and atmosphere. They are a reflection of the struggles, triumphs, and ambiguities that are part of the human experience, and they are an invitation to the viewer to reflect on their own lives and experiences. I see art in everything - in clouds, how they change shape and colors depending on the weather, day or season, just like flowers and trees, whether they are there with blossoms and leaves or are waiting for spring in a relaxing sleep, in playing children, in an older woman who is picking yellow flowers in her garden, in an elderly person who is feeding the black cat with white spots next to the stairs from the blue plate, and maybe in you. Through my work, I hope to evoke a sense of wonder and awe and to invite the viewer to consider the beauty and complexity of the world around us.
