ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This artwork with a story was sold to a lovely Lady from South Kensington, London. She framed it and made the picture hang in a breakfast room where all life goes in her beautiful house. Original Artwork (watercolours). It was selected by SBA and participated in Plantae 2023 exhibition in London. Also takes part in TEN exhibition organised by ABA. 3 pictures (12,5x18cm each) divided by the mounts in one frame Everything in this world is cyclical. The Earth is evolving, transforming, changing. Rebirth is a natural evolutionary process. Also, this little apple tree, like the Earth, transforms, changes and reborn In February I went for a walk in London and noticed a Crab apple tree close to my house. The little red apples survived cold winter, hungry squirrels and birds. They looked so jolly. I took a reference and painted the first 3 apples on the gnarled branch. А week later, when I went to see the apples, they looked a bit different but still alive and I noticed a few small green buds. I painted my second small picture with two apples only and first buds. Last time when I went to see a Crab Apple tree there were just a few apples left and they looked a bit sad. And it was a new life on the branches - little green leaves. This is the story of my 3 pictures that I framed in one picture and gave a name Crab Apples: Evolution Trilogy
