About The Artwork

A painting about the people of Israel crossing the red sea, in a very unique style. Different mediums have been combined to achieve interesting effects on the waves and the frozen water. The scene has been inspired by the Biblical text and Midrash ( A sort of interpretation passed from generation to generation ). The original was made on thick paper.
