Inspired by recent tsunami warning we had here in Australia after volcano eruption in Tonga. Giant waves caused by sudden movement of the ocean surface due to earthquakes, landslides on the sea floor, land slumping into the ocean, large volcanic eruptions or meteorite impact in the ocean, - those a scary and show us the prower of Mother nature. Gallery quality Premium, environmentally friendly, Cotton Duck canvas wrapped around the wooden frame, painted around the edges to compliment the artwork and doesn't need framing. All my paintings are finished with a good layer of varnish for bright colours and clear permanent protection for years. It comes with string/wire on the back to hang the artwork. Ready to hang. Hello, I am Sydney based Australian artist. Thank you for joining my journey and supporting my artwork! I had number of exhibitions and became Finalist of several Art prizes. My paintings are mostly located in private collections in Australia, UK and USA. I paint highly textured landscapes and colorful geometric optical art abstracts. Having a strong analytical mind, I like to organise time, space, information and…marks on canvas in particular order. My abstract range takes you into fascinating world of optical illusions. Particular effects are achieved by introduction of rhythmical graphical repetitions, drastic or balanced contrasts in tone or color. The use of light is combined with geometric shapes and different colors. Some of the pieces disrupt our vision and make it hard to interpret painting in conscious way. My art has an impact on a viewer: hypnotising, meditative, calming, intriguing, and even obsessive. And each painting reveals something new the more one looks at it. I use professional quality acrylic paint on gallery wrapped canvas. Varnished, sides painted, mostly unframed.
