Some people say it's aid and this reduces you to a beggar with no dignity Wanting more. Others claim it's money which they don't have plenty of So celebrities, bankers and politicians might love you more. Most think it's commitment But look how they are partially committed to work education, family and friends. Breaking love down into fragments that no group gets to experience whole. So here lies an ancient old truth God is love. Denying this fact is the betrayal kiss in a garden The unending stripes of a whip False accusations and perpetual crucifixion On a cross. And it has you sacrificing children In the altars of power, pleasure, prestige and intellect. Our infinite appetites for distractions So Satan fishes in the troubled waters of our discontented hearts.
