About The Artwork

This painting is based on the paintings of the artist Jean-Baptiste Roby, a Belgian painter who specialized in still lifes with flowers and fruits in the best traditions of the Flemish style. In today's range of paintings, paintings in the old Flemish style occupy a special niche and decorate the interior with a high sense of style and fashion. I admire the high artistic skills of the Flemish painters and learn from their masterpieces to get on the top of this art.

Biography: Olga Begisheva K. was born in the remote Russian village of Kachka, Udmurt Autonomous Republic. From an early age, she immediately showed an interest in art, her first landscapes were the subject of interest for teachers at school. However, need forced her to put off her dreams of a career as an artist. Olga graduated with a diploma in physics, worked as a teacher for many years, but her love for painting did not disappear: at night she painted trays, which in Russia is traditionally called Zhestovo floral art. During the years of perestroika, Olga and her family moved to Spain. It was Spain with its coloristic richness of nature, boundless seascapes that gave a powerful impetus to art. Yet again because of need to support 2 children and a catastrophic lack of time, there wasn’t an opportunity for a new career as an artist. So Olga learnt to paint from famous artists such as Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, Ivan Aivazovskiy, Wassiliy Kandinskiy, etc. doing some oil reproductions which are many of them brought her popularity as an impressionist artist. The last 13 years she is based in the South Wales, UK working as a free-lanced self-taught artist doing some personal exhibitions in the Cardiff area. She is exploring a many other classic style including the Dutch floral still life. Working every day on her own web site www.obkart.com Facebook https://www.facebook.com/obegisheva/ Instagram @obkart
