In this work, I'm portraying a near-future scenario in which a home on a prehistoric plinth inspired by Alberto Campo Baeza's "Olnick-Spanu home" has succumbed to sea level rise. A curious cephalopod visitor, a keeper of a soft, primordial intelligence, wants to visit. He is composed of lapis lazuli, amazonite and carnelian. Hiding behind basaltic logs, he gazes on, glistening in the sunlight.

Architectural designer with an affinity toward Seascapes and Caravaggio. My interest was piqued in 2007 during my senior year of high school when I attempted to replicate The Incredulity of St. Thomas. I owe my artistic sensibility to the merits of my late Grandmother, Mary Dice Pettit, who was associated with Akron, Ohio area artists/Studio West and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
