This was painted was inspired by Basquiat and they way he uses these strong bright colors contrast with darker tones. I also like the way he uses serious political text and imagery alongside more mundane and ridiculous material.While painting this I felt like I was in a bit of a trance and all these radical ideas and techniques came to mind.I used as many diverse and interesting styles and techniques on this as I could think. It's mean to be reflective of this crazy culture we're living in.
