Sexy female tango dancer being dipped by male partner, painted with palette knife. This work was one of two pieces commissioned for me to paint in situ in Costa Pedasi, Panama. The experience was phenomenal: to be able to focus on the sexiness and passion of dancing intimately with another human being for the 2 week duration of this project was exhilarating! This piece was painted from a photograph, so if you know the photograph, or are the photographer, please let me know so I can give proper credit.

Inspired by beauty around me, travel, and images that flood my head before the stillness of meditation, I am an Electrical Engineer turned artiste. Self-taught in fine art for many years, I consider myself a life-long learner. My formal lessons began with Gale Antokal (SJSU), and my wonderful but short stay at CCAC (San Francisco/Oakland). Inspired by many, my favorite current artistic influence is Tamara de Lempicka. I enjoy painting in many different styles, but my signature is the ongoing exploration of color. I started off painting original, sexy, colorful, fun, modern acrylic paintings. Now I am also exploring art as a healing modality, both for myself and private clients, and thus challenging the weighting we give the product, as compared with the process. My art typically exhibits at the Federation of Canadian Artists Gallery in Granville Island, Vancouver, BC but I also have my work in private collections around the world.
