"Don't grow up, it's a trap!" The idea came to me very suddenly: I remember having my favourite KFC hot wings and playing with my iPhone, and this quote showed up out of nowhere on Pinterest. So here I am, munching on a chicken that had the misfortune of encountering Colonel Sanders at the wrong moment, and I thought: if only that chicken had known better! Growing up just got it closer to the slaughterhouse! So I imagined what the friendly-looking KFC grandpa might do to lure unsuspecting chickens into his grasp. Perhaps he throws them a nice birthday party, making it seem like everything is just fine, while he is already thinking about when these chickens will be big enough to eat? Holding up a birthday cake to hide the blood on his hands? So here is my warning to those poor, innocent, young chicks: Don't grow up, it's a trap!
