About The Artwork

When I created this picture, I thought about the fact that a woman has invisible wings, that she is like a bird, knows where to fly and to whom .. who needs comfort, inspiration, who needs help, and who needs company or laughter. DOVE- The dove represents peace of the deepest kind. It soothes and quiets our worried or troubled thoughts, enabling us to find renewal in the silence of the mind. ... The dove's roles as spirit messenger, maternal symbol and liaison impart an inner peace that helps us to go about our lives calmly and with purpose. Seeing doves in your dream, symbolizes peace, tranquillity, harmony, and innocence. To see white doves in your dream, is a symbol of loyalty and friendships. It may also represent a message and blessing from the Holy Spirit. This painting have textured surface, raised pieces of paint. DOVE combines two distinctive stylistic influences – highly decorative colorful background, reminiscent of Gustav Klimt paintings, and inspiration drawn from a usually multi-layered street art. Was shown in personal exhibition „WOMAN POWER“ 2020 exhibition. In the Ancient Near East and Mediterranean world, the dove became an iconic symbol of the mother goddess. The Sumerian mother-goddess Ishtar is often portrayed as holding a pigeon. The ancient Phoenicians associated Astarte, the goddess of love and fertility, with the dove. The Greek goddess Aphrodite and the Roman goddess Venus were both symbolically represented by doves. The Spirit of the Dove, Shekenah--Holy Spirit--lives in this tale.
