About The Artwork

On the canvas, brought to life with oil paints in impasto technique, unfolds the magic of Eastern legends. At the center of attention are the dragon and carp, framed by the symbolism of the pearl, creating an impressive visual representation inspired by Chinese and Japanese culture. The massive dragon, a symbol of strength and wisdom in Eastern tales, hovers above the watery surface, its majestic wings covered in captivating brushstrokes, creating an impression of movement and freedom. Its eyes, gleaming under the influence of the pearl, radiate ancient wisdom, while its body, covered in thick layers of oil, lends reality and volume to the image. Next to the dragon swims the carp, its scales illuminated by the magical light of the pearl, shimmering in all the colors of the rainbow. Its movement is graceful and smooth, like a dance, in which every motion expresses harmony and beauty. The impasto oil paints create textured waves that emphasize the energy and liveliness of the creature. At the center of the painting shines the pearl, symbolizing wealth and longevity in Eastern traditions. Its light is reflected in the eyes of the dragon and carp, creating a magical atmosphere of mystery and admiration. This pearl is the key to harmony and balance in the world, uniting the dragon and carp in a dance of eternal movement and beauty.

"My goal is to share positive thoughts and encourage people to stop and look at the world around them! Works of art should bring joy, good emotions and the desire to enjoy life." Vitaly Leshukov was born in Ukraine, but has been living in Spain for many years, which of course is reflected in his landscapes but he also works in other styles and very successfully. The beginning of his artistic life is curious: a motorcycle accident, then 5 days in a coma. And after a difficult period of recovery and long reflection on life, he felt an overwhelming desire to paint. His work is a symbol of unyielding perseverance in the face of life's circumstances. Vitaly's art is multifaceted, contrasting color palettes evoke a strong emotional response. His favorite technique is impasto. Powerful strokes of thick oil paint make texture and volume contrast with light and create a real sense of movement and vibration on the canvas. His works are in private collections and museums worldwide: Switzerland, Taiwan, China, Ukraine. France, USA, Belgium, Israel, Kazakhstan, Ireland, Spain. Participant of many international exhibitions and Art Fairs. @leshukovvitaly
