This is part of a series of self portraits done from 2015-2017 that I produced as a response to a sense of displacement--- I have moved quite a lot over the years, and finding a sense of identity even in the kind of food I would eat has been vital to my survival.

Andi Magenheimer makes oil paintings on linen and a works on paper with watercolour and mixed wet and dry media. Skeletons, anthropomorphised objects, and a psychotic cowgirl out for revenge are some the characters who populate her artworks. She also performs Lynchian cowboy songs on the guitar as “Dusty Miller”. Magenheimer graduated from the Royal College of Art in London in 2012 and The School of Visual Art in 2009.
