"Ebb-Tide 2" is part of a series of paintings inspired by the play of light and the ebb and flow of the tidal waters found on the North Norfolk Coast. The pared down aesthetic of the painting gives an elemental sense of place rather than a figurative description...allowing the mood of the painting to change with the light in the space that it is hung. Ebb-Tide comes framed in a white float frame with all hanging equipment attached.
