About The Artwork

How the Egg collection came about, when I was a kid at school we would have to take our lunch box as there was no kitchen or cooking facilities, when the dinner bell rang we would all sit on the floor to eat our lunch. Almost every day I had a fried egg on rice, the other kids would say, ‘Ta fried egg again, you'll begin to start looking like a fried egg’. I used to plead with my sister to have something different but we had a lot of chickens and a lot of eggs so it was always fried egg on rice, it was easy for her…… One day I was frying an egg and thought that would make a great face……… My art is unique you won’t see it anywhere else it comes from my mind my dreams my imagination. COMMISSIONS:  I would be delighted to create you a unique work, whatever size you need and / or colour palette.  This is a one of a kind artwork, created and painted by me. I always sign my work on the front of each painting, you will receive a certificate of authenticity with your painting. I’ve had an exhibition but the best exhibition of all………those of my paintings hanging on walls at homes, offices and hotels of my valued clients. My latest review; Egg Valentine! Where do I start? My first purchase off Artfinder and from Ta. This is what true customer service is about. It puts the U.K. to shame. Fantastic communication, brilliant packaging and what a delight of a piece of art. If you have any doubt about buying online art, then be assured buying from Ta was a truly pleasant experience. I changed my mind twice on how I wanted it - ready to hang or rolled. Despite this nothing was too much trouble. The piece was taken to the framer, he’s seen plenty of great art in 30 years... he too was blown away! Says it all really. I’m over the moon that I have been handpicked by the editors of ArtFinder to be tipped for the top in 2018 as one to watch and invest in. My work is sold to collectors worldwide, namely in, Australia, Belgium, Brazil ,Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong,Holland,Ireland, Italy,Monaco,Norway,Portugal, Peru,Sweden,Scotland,Switzerland,Singapore,South Korea,The United Kingdom,The United States of America, and of course Thailand. Ta Byrne is a Thai artist who lives and works on the beautiful island of Koh Samui, just off the south coast of Thailand. Her Oil Paintings . are vibrant, eye-catching and packed with a sense of fun and humour. Ta takes humans as her focal point in her Figurative Painting but abstracts these figures by distorting them and using a cartoonish style to create a more humorous feel. While her work is mostly representational, she incorporates Surrealist elements in many of her paintings, making her one of the most exciting artists working in Thailand today. Ta comes from humble beginnings, living out her childhood on the rural outskirts of Bangkok as a farmer's daughter. During her teen years, she worked sewing shirts in a Bangkok sweatshop, and it was during this time that she met an old street artist who invited her to his studio. This sparked her desire to become an artist, and since then, she has gone on to produce Abstract and Cubist paintings that have received international acclaim from art connoisseurs.
