About The Artwork
Probably one of my favorite paintings and also one that the public likes the most, don't you agree? This piece taught me that if you have enough passion, will and discipline, you can achieve any goal and dream you may have. This many already know, but few are willing to commit at such a deep level. ...Not having any material to paint that day, I was forced to use an old piece of corrugated bark that I had in the garage. Fortunately, the wrinkled texture of the material inspired me with the skin of an elephant and the idea materialized immediately. This painting was the main jewel of my first exhibition in Panama and by mysteries of life the person who acquired it, became my wife and mother of my daughter. When passion, will and discipline are present, there is nothing that cannot be done.
