About The Artwork

A tribute to Takashi Murakami, one of my favorite artist. In this two panel piece, I used florescent paint in one panel and matte paint in the other. Both panels measure 16" x 20" on canvas. It will look great in a house or office.

Carlos Buitrago is a fine artist living and working in Los Angeles. He was born in 1972 in Bogotá, Colombia. He studied illustration at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. His illustrations have been published in different magazines and newspapers, and a lot of his work has been sold to private buyers. In 2011 he moved to Colombia, South America where he grew into a new style and grapped a better understanding of Colombian art, and his roots which you can see in all of his current work. Since moving back to Los Angeles from South America, Carlos is working to exhibit his work at different galleries and art shows.
