About The Artwork

This painting was originally created for the competition: "From 1921 to the Occupation of Russia". The competition should have been related to the Russian occupation and its influences. I got inspiration from the poem "February 25" by Georgian poet Kolau Nadiradze, where it is written that the death of a white horse was coming to Tbilisi with a cell and a red flag in his hand. The red flag is a symbol of the shed blood of a fighter for the land.

I was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. Now I live in Tbilisi and studyng in Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. I get inspiration from everything i see in this world. In my works, Im trying to pass all those little details and moments, which many cant notice, or to think little of about it. So in my works, Im showing that its in vain. There is a lot of wonderfull moments and colours in our life. I dont have specific technique, Im trying to be diverse. I use different materials. I never stay in one spot. My life is progress, and not a station. Everyday Im trying to learn more, and be better and better. Basically, Im selftaught artist, but I went to the different studios and studied with different artists. Im studyng on easel painting faculty. I chose easel painting, because I feel, that I fully belong to this sphere. My goal is to be profesional painter. I love my work, I love my art and I can imagine my life without it.
