Firebox #1 Painting

I am a documentary filmmaker but studied art formally since the age of nine. I graduated with a B.A. in art and worked in animation and photo realism style but moved into abstract expressionism after discovering Jackson Pollock. I have always been interested in artists as a filmmaker and worked on a four year project with printmaker Mauricio Lasansky. I finished a film on the painting "Mural" by Jackson Pollock that was recently restored at the Getty in Los Angeles. It was in several national film festivals and screened at major art gallery's around the world and won a regional Emmy Award. Currently I am working on a new documentary about George Stout the leader of The Monuments Men. However, my goal is to produce several paintings in the next few years for shows in NY, Chicago, LA. and Las Vegas.
