Daniel Kassa a self-taught artist from East London. Born in Ethiopia he came to England, alone, at 15 years old to escape extreme violence. His amazing artwork is inadvertently the result of experiencing a near-death experience at a young age. The enormity of this became more apparent as he got older, as he came to terms with lucid flashbacks and vivid visions, which he felt compelled to transfer onto canvas. Daniel paints complex and unusual yet very real metaphysical worlds, producing visual theories of the nocturnal soul and the forgotten cosmic form of mankind. Elements of the universe are brought to life on his canvas, offering a glimpse of man's esoteric existence, to better understand the nature of the relationship between what is actual and what is simulated. Daniel exhibits in London and has his work in private collections all over the world. He chooses his commissions carefully, as he has a distinctive style.
