Watercolor painting on a large sheet of indian handmade rag paper, approx 40×30″ This painting is part of the Secret garden series, where I set the purpose of studying natural subjects such as flowers, bushes, branches, tree fronds to set up my own personal garden. In this study I decided to abandon the classical representation and get very close to the subject, as we do in photography with the zoom or with the lens for the macro. In this way I can omit all the references to the real figure and concentrate only on the aspects that most interest me as color and light and thus arrive at an abstraction of the form that can evoke even the reference figure but is no longer so necessary.

Born in 1955 in San Gimignano, Italy, where he lives and works yet. He studied art and architecture in Florence before starting his work as a draftsman and graphic designer that runs parallel to his carreer as painter. The favorite subjects are the human figure, the life of the cities and the countryside in Tuscany, analyzed through the careful study of shapes, colors and textures. He has participated in many exhibitions, solo and group, in many Italian cities and the world and his paintings are in private and public collections. Anna Benvenuti, university professor, had way to emphasize : "...Therefore its paint-brush leads to us, onlooker, between the warm ways of Saint Gimignano, red of history or nocturnal of china, tclose to the forests to butterfly leaves, in the bluesy stormy or the green infinite of the young grain fields. With its chromatics it succeeds, much better than how much it is not possible to the historian, to evoke the thickness of the time inborn in the things, their meant ucronic of compendium. Therefore thanks to the light, before between "˜pieces' of the creation - also of that artistic one - it expresses the immaterial substance of the duration, the patina of becoming, the essence of the generations that that time they have crossed and lived covering the same places and watching the same colours." www.andreuccettiart.it http://aandreuccetti.ebsqart.com/ http://www.pinterest.com/aandreuccetti/ https://www.behance.net/andreuccettiart
