Attending the birth of the first bio-artificial life form. FLOWERYA SERIES Artistic and philosophical project focused on the symbiosis between the creative power of nature and its manifestation through human sensibility and expression. This project takes its name from the ubiquitous element in all visual works: the flower. As a symbol of life representing the cycle of creation, an omnipresent cycle continuously switching between singularity and differentiated states, it combined the flowers with objects or concepts created by humans, alongside other abstract entities belonging to unknown dimensions. Each work not only seeks to satisfy an aesthetic purpose but also to become a blueprint that shows life from within. This project combines paintings (mostly acrylic on canvas), digital art (made with Adobe Illustrator), poems or short stories, and ambience music.

I can define myself as a self-taught, generalist and multidisciplinary artist born in Havana City, Cuba, who expresses himself through different artistic manifestations such as drawing, illustration, painting, photography, music, writing and philosophy. Since always, the mind itself became my source of inspiration and search, which is why I chose for my paintings, a surrealist figurative style to represent stories through characters, objects and fluid environments, always representing an introspection, while composing atmospheres or incidental music for mental images, which are also the argument for the rest of my forms of expression. As an observer of the mind, I paid special attention to a cultural movement such as surrealism and the painter Salvador Dalí. As for music, my favorite composers have always been Claude Debussy, Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis, with a special interest in the concept of programmatic music (instrumental music with a literary or pictorial association). As for the materials, I use mostly acrylic on canvas. For the rest of the visual arts I use or combine traditional and digital techniques. As for music, I combine electronic and acoustic instruments, sometimes including the voice as an instrument and ambient sounds.
