About The Artwork

Painting: Oil on Canvas I was in the depths of misery, I was abuse and discriminate by the 3rd Circuit Appeals Court due to my disability. I was declared a Second Class Citizen, I turn to Art to express my pain and Formidable Barrier was created out of Ableism Abuse on Nov 28, 2017." - Jane Doe" As of March 27, 2018, This Case is pending in the Supreme Court: JANE DOE V LAW SCHOOL ADMISSION COUNCIL Jane Doe a person with disability's LSAT Applicant - "I wrote an ADA Accommodation Request to the 3rd Circuit informing the Chief Judge I could no longer write Motions due to my disability and a medical emergency. That caused me to be under a doctor care. I provided the Court with Proof and the Federal Court two weeks later, 3rd Circuit wrote “You must write a Motion for your accommodation to be heard.” I guess ADA does not apply to the Federal Court Judges are "Above the Law"?? Since the Court refused to read my ADA Accommodation Request. On November 28, 2017, I painted and filed Formidable Barrier.

We are Disability Rights Advocates, our mission is to bring people with Disabilities Stories to Light with Art: Arts have a unique power to bring people together and to promote change. These amazing artists who happen to be disabled bring awareness of abuse in the Civil Justice System. Everyone knows about the abuse in the Criminal Justice system but the Civil Justice system of deprivation of rights goes unheard. The violations of rights against the poor or disabled is an "Open Secret" in the Federal Courts.
