About The Artwork

Freewheeling is the title of an album by Bob Dylan, on the cover of which appears the iconic Volkswagen van: that image for me is a pop icon, but at the same time a poetic coincidence, as the main subject is not the van, but the musician with his partner walking in the foreground; the presence of that Wolkswagen, on the other hand, is an image taken by chance, but whose combination with the snow and the architecture of the city (New York?) is unknowingly very powerful. I have looked for old vans to photograph in all the cities I have visited, I have drawn a multitude of works from them and now I can say that it's a subject that identifies me, behind which there are hidden meanings and an aesthetic that I will probably never completely abandon. ..
