The painting took part in the group exhibition "Country of Artists" (February 2022. Kyiv, Ukraine) The idea of this painting came to my head completely accidentally, I drew it ease like never. I believe that the person who decides to buy it, just like me, will gain peace of mind. This painting is able to make life better thanks to its positive energy. I named this painting "From Minor to Major". Who knows, this is the definition in music, the minor is lyrical music, while the major is more dynamic. I hope many will understand the meaning that I wanted to convey. I would be glad if this artwork finds its owner. The painting is unique and presented in one copy. BIO Elena Dobkin is a native of Dnipro (Ukraine), where she grew up, studied, and dreamed. A creative atmosphere has always reigned in the family. But the parents were preparing their daughter for the more practical/down-to-earth skills of the modern world. By the age of 26, Elena opened her own women's bag store. One day she heard the phrase: do you dream of drawing? So go ahead and draw! It sounded so easy and at the right time that Dobkin decided to radically change her life. In 2018, the aspiring artist took an oil painting course in the city of Dnipro "Art-L". And in 2020 she received a diploma of completion of the course at the “Art & Fashion School Fantasy Room” (Kyiv) in the amount of 16 hours of study. Elena writes about what inspires/excites her. As the author, herself says: “All my paintings are a mirror of the soul.” Artist Statement To be an artist is to put meaning into every touch of a palette knife/brush on the canvas. To make it possible to live the moment depicted in the painting. There are beautiful things everywhere, and most importantly, it's all hidden in simple things. From thoughts: short about the main thing.
