About The Artwork

In 1174 B.C., Rameses III defeated a Libyan army, killing 2275 people. The hands of the fallen were severed, and there was a reward in gold waiting for them. Ironically, Rameses III was married to Ta-Hamdjert, who was known simply as "Isis." 3188 years later, and the "modern world" shows how we have become so much more civilised.
