When it comes to creating my artwork, I deal with the notion of symbol and semiotics which rule the everyday life of every contemporary man. I observe these symbols as indicators of significant manifestations of the state of the society we live in. My work, apart from being visual and fine art display, proclaim a strong message, involve into dialogue with modern questions and current topics. I use graphic technique, art, collage and digital graphics. With texture, I depict the crudity of the field where I operate within, interpret it, focusing the energy at one part of the format. I am using strong colours like a graphic artist, or painful tones with permanent subtext of greyness that is behind everything. I remove colour boundaries and connect everything into one hectic tone. In the same way that the boundaries have been crushed between politics, children entertaintment, marketing, history and hiperproduction. Garfield painting is a canvas acrylic, which was painted with brushes and drawn with acrylic markers. The background was made with the collage of the titles from the old Playboy magazines, where, by typography, I made a composition that resembles the wall covered with posters which have been washed off by rain over the years. The figure of Garfield was sanded in order to approximate the effect of the background and to become one.
