About The Artwork
The Geishe series belongs to a pictorial phase in which I loved to impulsively paint bodies and nudes of women, immersed in flashes of nature and words barely mentioned in the background. The paintings are made on industrial waste panels (MDF): the signs of their wear (holes, depressions, scratches) merge with those of the bodies that are painted there.
