Gentle waning Sun Print

The idea for this painting was born in the same place where I saw some of the most beautiful sunsets of my life. The fantastic beaches of Morocco are far away from me for most of the time, so I wanted to bring with me a piece of the emotions that I feel observing nature in that waning and reddish form. The goal that I set myself by painting this picture is to allow everyone to feel the pure emotions that have pervaded me in front of that almost surreal show. The fact that the sky cyclically every day prepares silently for the night with this ritual creates almost a magical atmosphere, difficult to reproduce and preserve. I used acrylics because subjectively they arouse emotions and memories better, remembering the fact that a strong emotional memory is represented. I also used salt in the humid shoreline depicted to resume the taste and effect of real sand. I really hope this painting will be a sweet fragment of the day for anyone who sees it.
