About The Artwork
Painting skies and water and rocks gives me a lot of latitude in my color choices. Inspired by sights at the beach and by Monet's Haystacks I felt free to use all the colors on my palette for the giant rock. I hope the viewer will imagine standing behind that rock, looking out into the ocean and feel the salt breeze that's sure to be there!
