Gisa, as a former teacher, is deeply rooted in Königstein and a fixture in the city's cultural life. Her interests include a wide range of politics, science, business and of course culture. She herself is almost an icon in Königstein. When the artist TWOTONE met Gisa on a cultural event, the two got into conversation and the idea was quickly born: Gisa is the ideal protagonist "YOU" for his portrait series "Icons and YOU". In this cycle, TWOTONE wants to elevate an ordinary person to the status of a "YOU" icon - a decorative pop art icon. Everyone has the talent for iconic glory - even if this celebrity only lasts for 15 minutes, like Andy Warhol already postulated in 1968. Gisa was painted in the “TWOTONE principle”, which determines the color of the portrait. During the exhibition she talked a lot about herself: "I don't recognize myself that way. If TWOTONE sees me like this, then you never stop learning ”.
