The work is one in a series that focuses on colour and colour-blindness in all of its sociological and figurative sense. This work, untitled, plays with the form associated with a visual test called "ishihara colour blind test". Being colourblind, these tests became part of my visual language. Not as a test per se since I don't pass, but these forms became as much a visual abstract form as paintings and graphic designs in books and museums. The idea of this colourblindness series, as it pertains to culture and the fine arts, plays well with the symbolism of not being able to distinguish certain colours literally and its undeniable allegorical context. This painting is a unique piece that involves the two luxury color: silver and gold.
