About The Artwork
The grapes have been harvested and it is time to sample them. The bunches have been brought in and arranged on the table for company to taste and enjoy, while the rest of the harvest will be turned into wonderful wine. I particularly enjoy painting in this style, since I allow the shapes and colors to suggest what the image should be. Although I do have some idea before painting what I want the image to be, sometimes I just have to yield to what is happening on the paper. Watercolor has the tendency to do that!

I was born in Botswana, Africa, and grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. I currently live in Tiberias, Israel - a very picturesque place for an artist to be. I draw a lot of inspiration from the landscape, and flowers around me - I am a great lover of nature. I also enjoy illustrating concepts that have occurred to me and use my imagination to attempt to explain the concept. I really do love all types of art, and will not shy away from attempting a completely new style, or method of creating - it is after all, supposed to be fun and uplifting to be able to create. My introduction to art was through oils, although these days I paint mostly watercolors.
