ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work is inspired by Dante Aligheri's Divine Comedy and Francis Bacon. I reinterpreted the idea of sin because i think that we need a new interpretation of it and religion. We sin everyday but i don't think this makes us bad people. I hope my viewers and buyers will have a lot of moments of contemplation and they will find themselves in my works. I represent my interior world, a world truthful to myself and to everyone who views my works. I chose oil on canvas because it is the most resistant tehnique of work, it is guaranteed to last at least 200 years. I make my own mediums and the colors remain vibrant and saturated, they keep their shine over time and the elasticity.
